Hi Carole,

Please know that raw meat is full of parasites!

Love your cats enough to make certified organically grown food choices.

If you suspect worms/parasites, the following options apply:

Put her on a short 24 hour liquid fast with water to weaken parasites

....Then give her VERMEX CAPS as directed with charcoal tabs in water or an electuary for 3 to 7 days. Repeat process in a week to kill newly hatched eggs.

-Mix 1/2 teasp. garlic powder and a pinch of cloves; sprinkle on food daily until worms are gone. Give spirulina or Green Foods or BARLEY CAT for a month after worming.

-Garlic, mullein/myrrh blend; echinacea or black walnut extract diluted in water; or mugwort tea.

(If Amyloidosis is the culprit, apply the following:

-Protease - Transformation PUREZYME or Enzymedica PURIFY, as directed 2X daily between meals.

-for better Digestion - Transformation CAREZYME or Enzymedica DIGEST -mix into all meals.

-for Anemia -Monas CHLORELLA - high chlorophyll content helps stimulate production of healthy blood.

....Sure hope she reponds soon...let us know how she' doing...JOYintheMorning...

Hi all!

I’d like suggestions – one of our cats has lost her appetite and is losing weight. She eats a little, but not nearly as much, and foods that she used to be crazy about, she often isn’t interested in. Meanwhile, her brother is still ravenous and eats a lot. They have a largely natural diet of raw meats, raw eggs and some raw dairy, and some natural canned catfood, and she does eat “Pet Grass” – the wheatgrass plants for pets. If she has a parasite or something, it’s just weird that they both don’t have it. I also sometimes give them Doc Shillington’s Pet Nutrition with some Udo’s Choice Oil, but she won’t touch it anymore. She doesn’t seem as chipper as her brother. She’s more lethargic, which is probably from not getting nourished enough. They’re a little over a year old.

I’d appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Carole
