Got a remedy for Pink Eye??????

My daughter woke up this morning with a good case of pink

eye...clinics are closed today and she needs to be back in school

tomorrow....

 

Any suggestions???

Onions, this is what I have heard...... chop up some onions and let your daughter get the fumes into her eyes. Onions are a great anti-bacterial.... it may sting a bit but it should work....

Boric acid works great it might sting a bit you can dilute it with water a little use a cotton ball and just wipe the eyeback2nc2003 <back2nc2003 wrote:

a raspberry tea is an excellent eye bath. make sure you do not reuse spoons,

and pour it onto the spoon, don't dip it out.

The best I have found for any eye problems is a decoction of eyebright. It does sting a bit and for a youngest I would use a weak solution.

When my kids had it (aged 8 mo & 2 years) I made a tea of eyebright and used

a dropper to put it in the eyes. Remember, it needs to cool first.
