Guest guest
You will use the wild species vine for this recipe. Gather 2 cups of leaves and flowers. (if no flowers are available just leaves will do) 1 Qt. boiling water in a glass or stainless steel bowl. Add leaves/flowers and cover for 1 hour Strain Pour into a stainless steel or glass pot and bring to a boil with 1 cup sugar or honey. Boil for 1 minute and cool down Add any flavoring oil or extract you like to this. You may freeze in canning jars for future use or keep in fridge for about two weeks. 1 ounce every two to three hours for sore throats. (not to be used for strep throats...see a doctor always for a strep) I have used this for decades with wonderful results.
