There is a place on my lower lip regularly splits - quite painful! Overnight

it seals up then breaks open as soon as I clean my teeth in the morning!

I wonder if it is related to the cold sores I get whenever my immune system

is out of wack but that isn't the case now as far as I know!

I appreciate any help - thank you in advance!

Lesley,

First, if it is related to the cold sores, Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm)

will help with the cold sores, as it's a form of herpes virus. You can make

tea or use the essential oil, or you can infuse the herb in coconut or other

veggie oil.

Second, it's a really good idea to keep the lips very moist. Using a lip

balm you prefer. If you don't use a lip balm and really have no preference,

I can recommend several. I really like Carmex. Or you can use Blistex, or

Mentholatum Lip Balm. You can also make your own, to make sure it has

wholesome ingredients.

If you'd like a lip balm recipe, email me, and I will send you one. Or you

can use coconut oil or other veggie oil straight on the lips.

I am sure the others here will speak up and give you more advise, but this

is what I would use for the condition you are talking about. If you try

it....let us know if it works for you.

HTH,

Candy
