Breastfeeding Information: Using Gentian Violet by Dr. Newman - The New Parents Guide

Thought this would be useful if using gentian violet for the thrush even if not breast feeding. If bottle feeding pour boiling water over the nipples after scrubbing well with a nipple brush.

This is also great for sore throats, paint the throat with long cotton swabs. My Doctor did this when I was a little girl, it relieves the pain and heals up within 24 hours. It is hard to find, it is an old fashioned remedy.
