Victims are unable to control their sleep spells, and suddenly fall asleep. Sleeping attacks are erratic, recurrent, overwhelming, and can happen at any time -day or night, no matter what the person is doing. Sufferers are easily awakened, although they fall asleep again within an hour or two. Narcoleptics may also experience complete loss of muscle control. There may be up to 200,000 people in the U.S. with narcolepsy (men and women equally). There are two types of the disorder -DDD (dopamine dependent depression), and a type involving a B6 deficiency of the dopaminergic system and poor use of body oxygen. 1 -Boost circulation to the brain: Ginkgo Biloba Plus as needed; Rosemary aromatherapy applied on temples. 2 -Ginseng helps regulate sleep patterns and are key brain nutrients: Ginseng tea and capsules are effective, GINSENG/Licorice Elixir helps balance critical sugar use; (chromium picolinate 200mcg daily, and Magnesium 800mg daily also regulate sugar); or use SIBERIAN GINSENG extract drops. 3 -Normalize serotonin levels: St John's Wort extract as needed; Enzymatic Therapy THYROID/TYROSINE caps, 4 daily as an anti-depressant. For bad moods add 5-HTP 59 mg at night for serotonin connection. (or take Glutathione 100mg daily.) NADH 5 to 15mg daily; Germanium 150mg; CoQ10 60mg 2X daily; (take with Vitamin E 400IU for best results. PCOs 100mg 4X daily; DMG B15 daily; DMG liguid under the tongue. 7 -Support thyroid and Adrenal finctions: IODINE-POTASSIUM SOURCE caps with ADR-ACTIVE caps 2 each daily; Enzymatic therapy ADRENAL COMPLEX. ....and Chlorella for natural germanium; Spirulina and all Super Greens for maximum nutrition. The diet should be low in fats and clogging foods, such as dairy products and animal proteins; high in cleansing foods as leafy greens and sea vegetables. He should eat nutritional yeast and other foods high in B Vitamins, like brown rice, on a regular basis...and eat Tyrosine-rich foods, such as wheat germ, oats, eggs, for better brain connection. Avoid hallucinogenic drugs -they aggravate frightening nightmares and the experience of sleep paralysis where a narcoleptic person is unable to move even though awake. Sometimes a dangerous panic reaction sets in. Exercise daily for circulation and tissue oxygen.
