I don't eat bad food (well, on our Saturday night date night I eat ice cream with my husband!) but other than that I eat organic veges, fruits, meat and poultry. I eat very little red meat though. I do not exercise much as most of my day and night is sitting.Any suggestions? I also get heartburn and my gallbladder hurts. " I DID IT " ...I'm a vegan now. Removing all animal products from your diet (including dairy) will indeed lead to a loss of weight. However, the one thing vegans need to be careful with is to make sure they get enough carnitine in their diet (it also doesn't hurt to make sure you're getting enough calcium.) Carnitine is one amino acid (I think the only one) which the human body cannot get from sources other than animal protein (food combining won't do it), so it pays to supplement if you're going completely vegan. I know, I was one, and the lack of carnitine in my diet did bad things to my immune system. Just for what it's worth...
