Hi Cheryl,

I have to add that not all accupuncturists and chiro's and stuff are like that. Though I have definitely experienced what you're talking about... when you are going to someone and they can't give you ANY prediction on when you'll get better, but they say to come twice a week or every day or whatever for an indefinite period of time, I am always skeptical. However, I have been on accupuncture treatment from a place in Milwaukee and they have a specific way of graphing your symptoms and your progress, and every time a symptom goes away you get points. Then when you get rid of most of your symptoms (which works because they are really good), they reduce your treatments to fewer and fewer until you only need to come once every month or two months or six months or whatever. In my treatment, I progressed up the graph like 20-30 points each month and after that, they don't want you to keep coming back because they want you to be healing. So, they're not all just out for your money. :)

Also I know a chiropractor in LA who people only go to see ONCE and then they are totally fine. He fixes you and you're fixed, period. It's amazing.

This is just my opinion, so take it for whatever it's worth. I think a lot of alternative doctors, acupuncturists included, want their patients to be dependent on them forever. I mean without patients, they don't make any money. Every person I have ever known who goes to a chiropractor has never been told by the chiropractor that they are healed and there is no further need for them to continuing coming to them. They want your money, plain and simple, and they can't get your money if there's nothing wrong with you. The alternative doctor near us charges an absolute fortune and you have to go to him continuously for vitamin c treatments or whatever. And insurance doesn't pay for any of it, as you well know. Have you done a complete body cleanse? It sounds like you might have some "clogs" somewhere. I'm just a beginning herbalist, but I did suffer from some kind of brain fogginess, so I can relate. I've been doing constant cleanses and I have really noticed a difference. I also eat very clean and vegan, mostly raw and organic. I hope you find the right solution to your health problems. My main symptoms are a white-yellow tongue coating and a foggy head that never clears. She "sticks" me, then cups my back (12-14 points), which instantly clears my head. I drink herbs daily until the next appointment. Without them, my head fogs over. I don't eat/drink dairy, coffee, or sugar, but my head gradually fogs over without the herbs and don't know why my body isn't clearing itself. Why is that? I thought herbs helped your body heal.I've been seeing her for 3 months (1x to 2x/wk), and she gave me a discount on the visits, but the insurance doesn't cover acupuncture, and I want to be cured.I'm not sure what cupping does, and don't know what else to do. She's a nice lady, and I appreciate the discount, but she's 90 mins away and not covered by insurance.I just want my head to be clear permanently and it never does. Any explanations or suggestions as to what to do? Many thanks.Glenn
