Guest guest
I had to deal with this in my youth and I cannot recommend highly enough, a book by Dr. Larrian Gillespie/ YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH CYSTITIS. It saved my sanity! Some things to consider first: 1- Are you sure it is an infection? It could be Interstitial Cystitis. (Chapter two of book above) 2- Oral sex is one of the biggest reasons for the common UTI's. The human mouth is filled with germs and they are easily transferred to the urethra tract. 3- Tight jeans or nylon/satin underwear is another great trigger. No air, moisture and heat are great breeding grounds for bacteria. 4- Waiting too long to urinate. 5- Not drinking enough water throughout the day. At least 8 glasses is necessary to flush out the kidneys and bladder/urethra. 6- Spicy, and/or acid foods can irritate the bladder/urethra causing " infection type pain when none exists) I strongly urge this book. I found my copy from a used seller on Amazon.com for only a couple dollars. I have not had a UTI in 10 years and this was after having repeated UTI's for twenty years!!! You can stop this yourself, believe it or not.... Sincerely, debora ***Make your words soft and sweet; you just may have to eat them someday.
