Guest guest
I haven't posted for a while and know that most of the remedies listed are for humans, but I am fostering a dog for an org. the dog has nerve damage thus causing bowel control problems it just comes out with her never knowing it, and other times she becomes stopped up(lack of a better word) and then has to be taken to the vet. She is now considered an un-adoptable dog due to the fact she cant be fixed by medication from the vet, and will be put down. I have ask if they would give me the dog and let me try to find an alternative, so here I am asking if anyone has ever had a problem like this with a dog or knows of a herbal treatment that could be tried... I sent another message and some how sent it before it was completed.Hope it doesn't post due to no spell ck. lol Thanks Cathy
Guest guest
Hi Cathy Why don't you try posting your question to the Wellpet list? Its webpage is at: http://www.wellpet.org/ Cheers, Suzy (South Coast NSW) If at first you don't succeed - then skydiving is not for you! Guest guest
Cathy, I have had good success with probiotics. I am not sure about it with nerve damage. I also found a website (I have no connection to) that has been really helpful. You can call and talk to them. They had a story of a really sick dog that has been nursed back to health! (www.petmedicinechest.com) They do herbs and natural things. I hope you can help this dog!! Guest guest
Cathy, I've used the products from Pet Medicine Chest that Diane mentioned. I've had very good results with their products. I have used the products for two different illnesses with my birds and both time the bird recovered. Irene imclark - Diane herbal remedies 9/1/2005 4:00:46 PM Herbal Remedies - Re: dog questions?
