Cold Sores

My dd gets really really bad cold sores, they puff up her lip so huge,

last really long sometimes (up to 2 weeks) and they are just so painful

for her. They also tend to look like impetigo with gold colored crusty

scabby things, that finally fall off and then it gets better.

 

We've tried many things, but none seem to work really well. This talk

about kidney problems causing toxins to come out through the skin makes

me wonder if cold sores also indicate low functioning kidneys. Or

perhaps some other root problem.

 

Any input would be appreciated, to help her not only with relief from the

symptoms, but also to address the root problem.
