Guest guest
I'm wanting to make a general lobelia tincture and I bought the c/s leaf because that's what my supplier had. I'm seeing online that the seed pod is recommended. So... Would a tincture of the lobelia leaf be worthless or too weak to bother with? Would the leaf of lobelia be better suited for something else, like an infusion? If I made a vinegar tincture of lobelia leaf, assuming it would be effective, are the dosages the same? Since I'm breastfeeding a toddler (who doesn't bf that many times a day) I'd rather take the lowest dose possible of any remedy and work from there. But other people in my life have problems with smoking among other things *coughcocainecough*. What should I tell them as far as dosage? And I know that lobelia is good for the cessation of smoking, but what about the other? I've read that it's good for most addictive behaviors, but I don't know if that's accurate. Would it be good for anxiety as well, in someone with anxiety disorder? (I know I can find this information elsewhere, but reading it in a book is different than asking people who have real-life experience). Also, I'd really rather use all vinegar isntead of a vinegar/alcohol mix to tincture it in. Will this keep? Should it be refrigerated? Okay, I think that's it. Thanks in advance.
