Therapeutic Dosages for Kelp

There is no appropriate "therapeutic" dosage of kelp, as it is not yet known whether kelp is truly therapeutic for any conditions. However, because of its high iodine content, it is important not to overdo your use of kelp. The iodine content in 17 different kelp supplements studied by one group of researchers varied from 45 to 57,000 mcg per tablet or capsule.1 The recommended daily intake for iodine is 150 mcg per day for people over the age of 4, and taking a great deal more than this can cause thyroid problems.

.....and for your last concern...Watermelon is one of the best diuretics on the planet!

If you have purchased black walnut hull tincture from "Doc" Ian or another source for a specific reason...follow "suggested use" on the bottle.

If you are using the combination of black walnut hull + wormwood + cloves for internal cleansing...follow Dr Hulda Regehr Clark's instructions down to every detail...(visit her website for more education on this combination)

I take flaxseed oil by the Tablespoon. (1-2 daily)

Standard dosage of a selenium supplement is up to 200 micrograms of selenium a day, if you are pregnant, do not exceed 40 mg.

Selenium plays a vital role in regulating the effects of thyroid harmone on fat metabolism.
