Guest guest
I would like to make the Total Nutrition powder but wondering where you all get the ingredients, would like them to be organic. Do any of you make this and does it taste palatable? Thanks hette
Guest guest
Ingredients come from herbalcom.com, and my dh didn't like it the first two times I talked him into taking it, now he loves it in apple juice with a chunk of frozen banana---my persnickety picky kid has decided to make his own, he puts two teaspoons in a glass of apple juice and drinks it for 15 minutes (gotta chew the dulse)..but even picky Boy Wonder likes it. Yes, is more than palatable. Guest guest
OK good...i drink vegetable juice every morning (organic) with my aloe so instead of that i'll just drink the TN...So where in the world do you find the ingredients to mix with the drink? Like bee pollen? Does anyone have a good source? I can pull it up in a search but who knows what these places are that sell it and if it's organic. The reason I asked about breakfast is because I have my coffee (yes i know it's bad but it's organic :-) and with my hypoglycemia I have to get protein in also or will have a sugar attack... Guest guest
Hi Marci! I used to keep bee's (apiary) and I can tell you that if someone puts organic on bee pollen it will be fake. Bees will travel many many miles to collect pollen and there is no way to determine if they only collect from organic farmers. Buying pollen from anyone is a catch 22 situation. You might try a local beekeeper but normally they do not have time to collect unprocessed pollen. Some people may be terribly allergic to bee pollen. Taking local pollen is best because it will contain all the growing things around you. Raw unfiltered honey may contain minute amounts of unprocessed pollen, bits of propolis (bee glue) and assorted bee body parts.
