Guest guest
Thanks, Doc! Sure will To Gina, if I can jump in with my 2 (or 4) cents on acne experience (from teenage years to mid-20s), I think the same holds true for the kidneys' relationship to that whole group of skin disorders. Anywhere there's toxin in the body, the kidneys have to work to get rid of it, and when they can't, it comes through the skin. Also for acne, when I get a little hormone-related breakout at certain points of my monthly cycle, I do 2 things: first, I internally take a few capsules of Burdock, which is a bitter blood- cleansing herb. Topically, I'll slice open a few strawberries (even if they've started to go a little bad such that they taste a little funny they're still good for this, so this's how I use up strawberries I've forgotten about that I don't want to eat but feel bad throwing out), and I rub the slices on the affected area. I've found that the acids cleanse the pores deeply without drying the skin. And the chill is really refreshing especially in summer. In fact, I do this as a preventive measure if I've sweated a lot or I can detect certain points of my cycle. Cost: not even pennies. Compare that to all the overpriced prepared scrubs that just dry your skin out! lol Just my ramblings I'm sure Doc has some cool remedies as well! When the Kidneys are not functioning at peak performance, your body will use your Skin as a back-up elimination organ and can cause the persistence of and propagation of Eczema. Some serious Kidney Cleansing used in conjunction with Doc Christopher's Jojoba 9% Tea Tree Oil Formula can work wonders on Eczema. > > Hope this helps. > > Love, > > Doc > > Doc Shillington > 727-447-5282 > Doc@A... > - > supervixen08 > herbal remedies > Wednesday, August 17, 2005 8:50 PM > Re: Herbal Remedies - Attn: Doc...Health and irate family member..ugh!! > > > Hmmm...I'd like to ask the whitecoats, > > Just what constitutes a *REAL* doctor????
