Guest guest
Wendy, I tend to be the same way. I want to spread the word about the things that have helped my health but I have learned to keep my mouth closed unless asked (especially with my extended family). My father is killing himself with Lupron and constantly complains about the side effects yet says " it's the only thing keeping me alive " when I mention how bad it is for him. My aunt has multiple chemical/environmental sensitivities but has always ignored anything I have suggested so now I make no suggestions. She sees the progress I have made with my health but is unwilling to try anything that doesn't come from a doctor. Friends wonder why their children are always getting sick or breaking bones. One friend has had each of her children break their arm within the last year. I suggested cod liver oil because of the vitamin D but know that she will not look into it. These are children who drink soda and eat lots of processed food. I have also suggested potassium (which has helped me tremendously) for her son's asthma instead of the steroids he gets whenever he gets a respiratory infection but she will not add something so simple because the doctor keeps prescribing steroid inhalers. My children have not been sick in years and friends know that I am very careful about diet and what they are exposed to, yet my friends are unwilling to make changes because it's too hard. On the other hand, I do have one friend who will ask my opinion when a health issue comes up in her family. She knows I do my research and respects my opinion. I tend to be PASSIONATE when there is something I believe to be true. Not pushy..just passionate..but, now that I think about it...there is a FINE line ;-0. My kiddo's will benefit from this passion...as will my dear husband..and that is what truly counts. I think I'll keep my yapper shut (oh, so hard to do!). I'm off to check on the organic chickens simmering in the crock pot:-).. Peace and Good health to all.. Guest guest
I hear you, it is so darn difficult to be around. I thought when I got into this type of healing, the people that I am around would be overjoyed and want to know more. Every conversation you have with anyone a health issue comes up, but no ones wants to do anyhting about it. Last month I took my son and a friend of his on a trip, that kid would ONLY eat things that you had to unwrapped and it showed, cuts would not even heal on his body. Gina"J.
