Guest guest
Hey there everyone! My name is Sara and I am a new member to the group so I thought I'd introduce myself… I'm a 38 yr old WAHM with Rheumatoid Arthritis in Houston, Texas. I have been on and off various medications in the past few years and nothing seems to help me. I would appreciate any advice on herbs to help RA. I love spending time with my family, learning about new things, reading, watching movies, and getting to know new people. I personally feel that health and family are the most important things in life; we just need to have the information necessary to make the best choices for us. I'm hoping I can find some good information, insight, and advice here so that I can increase my knowledge and make better decisions for myself and my family. I'd also like to meet some like-minded people. Hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to getting to know you! ~Sara
Guest guest
Hi Sara - Welcome! To begin you should be taking the Doc's Panther Piss formula of organic apple cider vinegar and black-strap molasses, which will regulat the PH of the body - very important! There are some dietary measures you can take to ease inflammation in the joints. For example, do not eat red meat, dairy, or foods with additives or preservatives. Avoid nightshade vegetables such as peppers, eggplants and potatoes. Do not consume caffeine, alcohol or nicotine. Do not eat acidic fruits such as citrus, plums, strawberries, or red & black currants. Foods that are beneficial to consume are, sulfur containing foods such as asparagus & eggs. These sulfur rich foods help rebuild bone, cartilage & tissue. Fresh pineapple is good for inflammation. Consume plenty of fiber such as rice & oat bran (sprouted preferably). Avocados, soy (in moderation) and green leafy vegetables are also helpful. Make sure to take a free-form amino-acid complex, histidine is especially helpful for removing metals from the body, which is a factor found with arthritis. Taking Grape Seed Oil, Vit C, Vit E, MSM, Glucosamine and SAMe will also help. Some herbs that would be good to take are Black Cohosh, White Willow Bark, Yucca, and Burdock. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace & Love, Jen
Guest guest
This is what I found worked to get rid of my fibromyalgia (another form of arthritis): Get all artificial sweetners out of the diet (also got rid of my constant migranes), do not eat or drink anything that came from a microwave. Get a matress pad with magnets. Get your nutrients: spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass juice etc. Even better get (or make) Doc's total nutrition. For now with pain you could try arnica gel and magnet therapy. Luv, Lauracreating_balance <dit7272 wrote: Hey there everyone! Guest guest
Hi Sara, Welcome! There's some good information that people have sent out to you already. I would also recommend browsing through the data in the files for this group. Especially the Total Body Cleanse information. If you're new to the natural/herbal lifestyle, you'll need to make the mental switch from looking for the right item that fixes your problems (a quick pill or herb) to the view that you need to put the right foods and water into your body and get enough exercise, and then things will start working better. You can't stay on a " Standard American Diet " and expect herbs to fix the problems. Best of luck! Guest guest
Hi, Apply boiled and smashed apple paste over the painful and swelled area and bandage it for two hours. This you can do in the mornings. In the afternoons, prepare an oil as described below. Heat four tsp. sesame oil and add 12 flakes of garlic. Heat the oil with garlic till the garlic are totally charred. Remove from fire and filter. When the temperature is applicable to the body, add 1 tsp. camphor powder and apply. Slightly massage with the hands. No hard massage please. Let it remain there till you want to. Internally take 1/2 glass raw potato juice 2-3 times a day. It takes some time to see the results, but it works. With best wishes of speedy recovery, MJGLaura Ditsch <egyptqueen2005 wrote: This is what I found worked to get rid of my fibromyalgia (another form of arthritis): Get all artificial sweetners out of the diet (also got rid of my constant migranes), do not eat or drink anything that came from a microwave.
