Green Onions Linked to Hepatitis Outbreak

i live not real far from the chichi's restaurant where the outbreak took

place. to date, they're not saying positively that it was the green onions

(scallions) that caused the problem. at this point, 3 people have died from

hepatitis a, contracted at the restaurant, and over 500 (543 i think) have

tested positive for hepatitis a. i think over a thousand were given the

free immunization.

 

i'm told they've stopped importing those green onions from mexico for the

time being.
