Thanks folks, I very much appreciate y'all watching out for me (us

 

Generally I don't mind people having a group they own or belong to and

wanting to tell people here about it . I'm not one of THOSE kinds of

list moms (uptight), but it is also nice if the person promoting another

list here is somebody who we know on this list, not somebody who has

never posted here before. Its also a good thing to be polite and ask any

list owner if they mind that being done - especially if you don't know

them - that is just common courtesy ...

PS - (smut groups are another story totally - in that regard I AM VERY

uptight about anyone promoting them here! ;-p )

an aromatherapist and have alot of people looking for people like you.

By putting your name there it would give someone another group to look

I know what you're saying. I think I did promo my other group here,

once,

after asking the list mom. Then I *forced* her to come over and promo

herself (I think there was a co-op buy going on and my young'uns would

like the goodies.

Maybe she didn't know the rules, and she'll now know to step back and

put

her toe in the water before jumping in. Or, maybe she'll be put on

moderation. All I know, in my group, I keep all new members on

moderation

for a while, just to make sure they're not spammers, or *gasp*

topposters

who don't snip excessive quotes, which WM was also guilty of :-) LOL

 

She just didn't seem too group-savvy by the way she posted under an

unrelated subject heading and topposted with all the 'anybody awake'

stuff
