Thanks, big guy, for the email. You are sure right as far as the safe part

goes. I like to think I am in a pretty safe place here in north central

Iowa. But with all the crazies around here who are setting fire to land

mark places and another bunch have cut the wires on the huge Christmas

display at a local state park, I sometimes wonder. Has been a lot of

vandalism. Be nice if all that energy was put into good works.

Spent the summer scraping, sanding, priming and painting the outside of my

house. Got most of it done. I am like the energizer battery (not that damn

bunny), still going!!!! Use it or lose it, huh. Do take care and real good

to hear from you.

Did have the opportunity to meet Janet Golden-Hogan when they came back to

Iowa and I was house sitting at my daughters. Mike took a couple pictures

of us but be darned if I can find them. Maybe Janet could send them to you

(and also resend them to me)!?!?!?!? I know we aren't suppose to send

attachments but maybe just this once, huh?????

Blessings and love,

Effie
