I have been reading all the post from yesterday (we are on a time

diffenrence here, well not me and Butch, we are almost on the same

level :-D) and I admit - this is one funny group of people lol.

Jeezzz, Kathleens and Janets post on candle making - hehehe.... You

knwo what I put in my molded beeswaxcandles for rose scent? Rosewax!

Yeahhh, it's very expensive and I don't sell them, just give them

away as gifts to close ones. But - I would love to get my hands on

soywac for candle making, cause I'll bet my sweet a-s that there are

different kind of soywax out there - right?? The only thing I have

got on this side of the pond is for cosmetic use me thinks. Have

tried it in making candles, but it burn very poorly :-( But importing

soywax from the US....it's the same as trying to get good quality

hydrosols - the shipping for such heavy stuff would bring me to

bankrupsy...

On the comfrey leaves and importing note, yep - I can recieve gifts

with no aditional charge at all - small hurray! But, not all US

companies are willing to do business that way. Those who are are

worth their weight in gold LOL and they are on my all-favorite-people

list. Before I have bought stuff and have them sent to my friend

Margaret in Oregon (wawing frantically) and she ships them on, but

the costs for dubble shipping get's a little bit out of hand. So I

guess I just have to grow my own comfrey plants (they can fight for

the space with my mints) next year and that will be it. Until then I

just have to use my bits and pieces of the root and be happy ;-P

Haha, through my Swedish gardening group I found a place sellign

dried herbs - FOR HORSES! The sell them by the pound - I imagine 1lb

of comfrey root will last me some time - LOL.

Unlucky for me, the market for making natural toiletries in Sweden is

not to large, otherwise I think I would start my own import business

and get going with all the stuff that we lack here; good butters and

oils, herbs, unique and nice jars and bottles, real quality EO and

hydrosols.... Hmpff, I think I just go and take Fiona out on her walk

now - it's grey grey grey - gahhhhhh.

Fragrant Blessings,

Ylva
