I put in three drops... was about to add 2 more when I saw your post... It smells " nice " but not rosy enough... Keep in mind I'm used to paraffin, I'm just playing with this. It's a pound of soy all melted up nicely with one ounce of Bee's and now has three drops rose... As it's starting to harden, I have to make me mind up quickly... thinking I might make a channel down by the wick and add more rose... So. Convince me why not... By the by, I smell yummy! All my bottles have oils residue on the caps... this is no exception and I smell all girlie and pretty! LOLOL K Cheers! Tain't nothing like paraffin. >sigh< You can't do chunks with it, can't use essential oils with it, unless you use a LOT. So what's it good for? Just for people who insist on nat-rul? If this is it, I'm not sure doing soy is worth me time. Too many people like pretty, nice smelling candles... Off to sulk for a while. K Cheers! Guest guest
Kathleen~ I am down on my knee begging you not to put rose otto in wax. It may cause me to have the big one, holding my chest, short of breathe, it is all getting grey. If you MUST do it. Oh my do I have the oxygen to type this? use a unscented soy wax candle that has a large melt pool and add 1 or 2 drops to that. Let me know what you do and what you think of it. I will try not to lose consciousness in the mean time. Making Light of Scents, Janet Golden-Hogan http://www.GoldenEssence.com
Guest guest
Cause you need 1oz of eo to a lb of soy for scent throw! It will mostly burn off and after a few minutes you will not smell it. A sad way for rose to die, welled around a wick. ;-( >In a message dated 11/13/2003 2:26:09 PM Pacific Standard Time, >janetkgolden writes: > > > Kathleen~ > > I am down on my knee begging you not to put rose otto in wax. > > It may cause me to have the big one, holding my chest, short of breathe, > > it is all getting grey. > > If you MUST do it.
