Guest guest
<<Also, putting MSM in their food or water bowl daily, will stop them from itching and help get rid of allergies, >> Hi, Russ! Can you tell me how much MSM to try for an itchy golden retriever -- a six-year-old male about 63 pounds? He has had chronic, low-grade itching almost all his life that is kept under control by a raw diet, but we can't completely get rid of it. (Have tried Chinese herbs; Western herbs; acupuncture; chiropractic; homeopathy; various diet changes; supplements like probiotics, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, kelp, alfalfa, yucca, etc, etc!) Thanks, Ellen

This is just flat out wrong. Look, I think MSM is great stuff - but it's not the cure-all be-all for EVERY ailment under the sun of EVERY species. This information you have presented is false and very misleading. Cats and Dogs DO NOT eat grass for MSM - if this were the case, horses and cows would be full of MSM, and there wouldn't be such a huge market for equine MSM products. I'd like to see a grass anyalsis - If grass is so full of MSM, couldn't one just skip buying it from you and eat grass? Cats and dogs eat grass for a variety of reasons. Some times animals resort to eating dirt and rocks - which is pica, and can be linked to defficieny of an ESSENTIAL nutrient(s), which, (great though it is,) MSM ain't. Birds also feather pluck for a variety of reasons including stress, bacterial infection, parasites etc. There is NO evidence that lack of MSM is a cause. If you have a study that specifically states that lack of MSM in birds is the ONLY reason they pluck, bring it on. Same thing with cats - there are MANY reasons a cat may scratch. To say it's an MSM deficiency is WRONG. If a cat is scratching because it has fleas, do you then think that it has fleas because of an MSM deficiency?!?!? Come on!! Finally, you say you have _cured_? Interesting... > > I have cured many people with carpal tunnel, TMJ, joint/muscle pains, > simply buy using pure MSM daily.<< I also like the freudian slip here. Buy indeed. MSM is a great product - great enough that people don't need to be misinformed to buy it for every freakin ailment they have - it should stand on it's own merits, and be used for what it CAN help. Let's also remember that everything, EVERY SINGLE THING we put in our bodies, including food and herbs etc. affects us chemically. Everything is a challange to our physical self, not to mention our liver. There is no magic bullet. JenB
Guest guest
Jen, Good post! >>MSM is a great product - great enough that people don't need to be misinformed to buy it for every freakin ailment they have - it should stand on it's own merits, and be used for what it CAN help.<< This is an important statement -- I hope that people can look into what MSM does (that goes for many things) rather than hoping that it will do everything. I am not even touching the cure part... >>There is no magic bullet.<< That is 110% accurate. I usually use the term " a little pink magic pill " , like the bullet though. Pink magic bullet -- nah does not sound too good, LOL! I would suggest > that you educate yourself to the facts, before you try and demean > something you know > nothing about. Blah blah blah... Your website, that's where you SELL your MSM from, right? I'll get to your excellent website later. Funny. Between college, vet tech school and massage school, I have taken about 6 years of A & P, I never heard crap about MSM being the third most necessary nutrient after water and air, how convenient that there is no patent on water or air, or we'd be forced to buy them from you too. I never put MSM down. I questioned the fact that you seem to think that deficiency of MSM is the cause of every ailment under the sun, and that MSM is the " cure " for every said ailment. I think MSM has been a great help to arthritic dogs, cats and an aide to sport horses - I have nothing against MSM, except it being held up as a universal panecea. I object to your marketing techniques. I object to the fact that you sell the stuff, and come on here and tell everyone that everything wrong with them is lack of MSM, then direct them to your website, where you sell it, for more information. I looked at your website and I REALLYREALLYREALLY object to you stating FLAT OUT, that there are no incurable diseases, and ask for people to write to you with their symptoms, that you have an " incurable solution formula. " I think the FDA would be mighty curious about this... and the AMA would be mighty curious about you. God is curious too, he wants his powers back. I encourage everyone to go look at the website - right now before it gets changed: http://colloidalsilversolutions.com/ or http://www.naturalhealingsolutions.com You are as bad a crook and fake Dr. as Gary Young or any YL'er. And you ought to be ashamed. People do not deserved to be given false hope and bilked out of money. Save your client testimonies - I really don't give a rat's ass. I'm too busy writing the FDA about you. JenB

Hi Jen: I've been following the responses of you and Janine, and I have nothing to add, mostly because you two have said it so eloquently. The alarm went up for me when I read he said his MSM was the only good MSM available. Anytime anyone makes a claim like that, it's a sure sign they're a quack. I do have to correct something. The FTC -Federal Trade Commission -- is the government agency that handles false claims, whether its for a supplement or an exercise machine or whatever. You can go to their website and file a complaint. > >I encourage everyone to go look at the website - right now before it >gets changed: http://colloidalsilversolutions.com/ or >http://www.naturalhealingsolutions.com > >You are as bad a crook and fake Dr. as Gary Young or any YL'er. I'm too busy writing the FDA about you. The FDA regulates pills and potions -- think the ephedra ban. They have no problem with MSM, just this guy russ's claims, which they would also forwrad to the FTC. For that, go to http://ftc.gov At the bottom of the page, there is a place to 'file a complaint.' You can also contact the Attorney General of his state, Arizona. In the meantime, you can save his webpage to your harddrive, and if you're ambitious, use http://www.webreaper.net/ Download the webreaper program, and let it scroll through both his sites, and it will save it all to your harddrive. Then you just have to forward the results to the governing body if he changes the pages.http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady
