How to best heal??

Sunday one week ago I was slicing potatoes for dinner and my mind was

totaly somewhere else - so slash bang I almost sliced of my left

forefinger too (at least 1/3 of the way). Blood was flowing and I

could't scream to loud, didn't want to freighten the kids... I tried

to stem the blood enough to tape the wound together (used to work in

an operation ward in my younger days LOL), but started to faint and

had to lie down on the floor with my feet up on the toilet seat.

Well to cut it short, my DH managed to bandage it and the next day I

redid it myselt a little bit more properly. The cut itself have now

almost healed, but I must have managed to damage a nerv with that

cut, cause from the knuckle and over the next joint, half the finger

is totaly numb. I know it sounds silly, but I don't think this is

something to run to the doctor with (the only times I go and see a

doc is when I'm in dire need), I much more would like to find

something natural healsing restoring kind of thing instead.

So come on - give me some healthy :-D advice here on what to cook up

to speed the healing fo the nerv. Hmm yeahh, heal the cut too, cause

it don't look to good :-( not the best of my taping experience me

thinks.

My husband does that on a monthly basis, LOL! Lavender hydrosol always

heals it quickly for him. Don't know about the nerve damage, though. The

last one for my husband was broken glass, and I think he still has a piece

in there, b/c waaaayyyy too much scar tissue has developed. Any ideas about

that?
