Guest guest
Jonee! We went last nite and got one of those halters you told me about. FABULOUS! What a fantastic difference! Petey has been learning to 'heel' and with this halter, it wasn't such a chore and walking was actually nice! I hated it when I would have to pull so hard it choked him. He has a tender throat anyway. Or I'm a wuss, which I am for him. lol Oh man, what a difference, thank you SO much for telling me about it! Warm regards, Janine Phariss www.BlueSageNaturals.com Unique & Innovative Herbals
Guest guest
Hi, Janine - glad I could be of help. Be thankful Petey is only 40 lbs., not 70 lbs. like ours is - she was walking us until we got the harness(es)! I saw a thing on Animal Planet once about dogs that got into things when the owners left, it's usually boredom - and depression they said. We saw one episode of this dog that could open the people's refrigerator and freezer, and would get stuff out and eat it. > Or I'm a wuss, which I am for him. lol That's fantastic, made even better by the fact you saved him from a not-so-pleasant past. Guest guest
Don't cook for us anymore, but I do for the dog. When she watched the house I have frozen Kongs with everything from baby food to cheese in them. Also put in treats. She knows it her special treat for watching the house. Oh course I lock up the cat. The cat is the trouble maker. She loves to get the dog chasing her. So far, knock on wood, she hasn't done anything wrong. It was another of the things I learned at dog school. I alway like to watch the Animal Planet.
