Hi all!

First, let me say that I have had a HIGHLY allergic dog for 10 years. She is

allergic to grasses, fragrance, dust, etc. She is even allergic to CATS!!

Yes, you *heard* me right! >:o) Her hair falls out if she gets around cats.

Anyway, she itches and scratches, and gnaws the fur off of her backside if

she is sensitive to something. We have tried everything known to man to help

her with only mild results.

Recently, we met with a Rottweiler breeder who suggested to us that a large

part may be due to the food she eats. He explained that most of the

commercial dog foods are filled with corn (ground corn, corn meal, etc) and

dogs can't digest corn which can lead to LOTS of pooping, digestive

problems, and allergies. So, willing to try anything (she'd had a reaction

at that time that had been ongoing for about 3-4 wks, complete with no fur

on the backside), we switched her food to a brand with NO corn in it. It's a

brand called Premium Edge (here's the website if you want to check it out -

http://www.premiumedgepetfood.com/DogFormulas.html) & since we've switched

her food, we have noticed a dramatic decrease in her sensitives. Her fur has

even grown back! Now, we still give her a Benadryl a day, but all in all,

the change in food has been great...(not to mention less waste! >:o) )! In

case you are interested in purchasing the food, we get it at

www.petfooddirect.com.

Just a suggestion from something that has worked for me....take it or leave

it, but hope it helps! >:o)

Have a blessed day!

Always in faith,

Kati in NC
