Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Just a quick note to say that I am glad to see so many people asking questions and getting involved in their dog's health -- as well as striving to learn. Learning, asking, thinking, weighing the discoveries leads to power, the real power -- knowledge. I hope that you all will not settle for one post, one book or one article claiming results, cures or debunking any modality. Keep asking questions, read about the subject and then ask more. In the end you will make your own decisions. We all have the same goal -- doing the best for our dogs. Will feeing a preservative filled commercial diet, antibiotics, using cortisone shots, steroids be the only alternative for our allergic dogs? Should we all use raindrop therapy as many YL followers suggest? Should we ask the food manufacturers about each an every ingredient? Should we read the back of each and every grooming product label even the ones our vet prescribes? Should we ask FDA why grooming companies are not forced to disclose all ingredients used in dog products? Should we worry about using household cleaners, pesticides, lawn fertilizers? Should we worry about products (that goes for 95% of grooming products) containing synthetic fragrances on our dogs? Or should we just take the word of a vet, a CEO of a large dog food or dog grooming product manufacturer, an expert or simply a dog lover? Knowledge is powerful and healing at the same time. I am very happy to see that you all are asking great questions...keep asking When it comes to me -- I am and will always be a life long student. No matter how much I learn, I will stand by my view that what I know is not much....so I will keep on asking just like you all. Sevi .......................................... Guest guest
Hi, A little correction: " Should we ask FDA why grooming companies are not forced to disclose all ingredients used in dog products? " This should read -- Should we ask FDA why grooming product manufacturers are not forced to disclose all ingredients used in dog products? Guest guest
Hi Nancy, > As old as I am, I learn something new everyday. Even if its history I find it interesting. The way I see it is that we are young as long as we learn and yearn to learn. So you see, you are quite young.... Sevi
