Question: Sunflower as a carrier oil

I bought a bottle of body oil quite some time ago and it was 100% sunflower oil.

I actually liked it quite well.

I was reading about sunflower as a carrier oil, because I was thinking about

adding it to my body scrub and maybe one or two other things. The jury seems to

be out on exactly how good it is, absorption, etc, to the point that I have read

contradictory things about it. For example, one web site says it's not good for

massage oil because it doesn't absorb well and another site says it absorbs very

well.

So now I am coming to my personal panel of resident experts (my Group

members) to find some personal experience and/or advice if I might. Any

positives, negatives, ANYTHING...

Thank you guys once again...

I haven't used it myself too much, but I have a friend who is a massage

therapist who makes up her own massage blends, and I know she uses some

sunflower oil in it .. I have no idea how much, or any other details.

Next time I talk to her I'll ask her (dang girl is in the dark ages with

no e-mail *lol*)

I know its high in vitamin E ...

I'm sure someone here has some more experience with it and will be able

to offer more assistance than I ...

Now ya make me want to go get some sunflower oil and experiment as well

as get all the goods on its properties - for internal and external use.

Ah, so much to do, so little time ...
