Its a matter of professional courtesy. Generally, cops don't write cops

or retired cops unless they are doing something really bad. The reason

is simple .. once a cop always a cop. He knows that if a cop or retired

cop is driving by and sees him getting his butt kicked by 26 druggies we

are gonna stop and get involved .. average civilian will go to the next

service station and call the cops .. and they will come and carry off

his dead body. Not that we are more brave than the average civilian but

we are programmed in a way that gives us little choice as to how we act.

I totally agree. With the exception of some of the FINER micro

breweries that are springing up around the USA .. American beer is like

a canoe .. the closest you can get your butt to water.

Turkish Efes beer is close to German .. those who started it were ex

Gasterbeiters (Turkish workers in Germany) who learned the industry.

 

Turkish coffee is such because its not leached .. the fine ground coffee

is suspended in the water .. finer'n frog hair split 3 ways it is. ;-p

Right you are on both counts. One can find imported Efes in the USA

also .. but it is required to have preservatives .. and is lower in

alcohol. Basically .. it sucks!

I wasn't aware that Gila Monsters were protected .. new info fer'shur.

Graham and I went out to the Sonora Desert Open Air Museum in Tucson.

I'll say that it was the finest natural museum I have ever seen .. more

different critters there than you can shake a stick at. We can go to

zoos and see critters but there they are in their natural environment.

I live in a logical city too .. folks park on the sidewalk and walk in

the street. ;-p

When I return to live in the USA .. next year .. I don't want no danged

city life .. wanna be a mile off the nearest paved road .. want bobcats,

deer, turkey, quail, rabbits, foxes, coons, possums, squirrels, snakes,

bullfrogs and such as my close neighbors .. and I gotta have a small

lake or pond for my pretty birds to swim on whilst I sit on the back

deck with a cool one and watch them .. and my purty woman. ;-p
