Guest guest
> I got my first " trick " of the day I can top that (unfortunately). Hubby called me from work at 7am, and asked about the order. I'm clueless because I didn't get the email. (trick #1) He forwards a copy of the order to me. It doesn't leave his computer thanks to the firewall at his office, so he copies it and tries to send again. No luck. (#2) He puts the order info into ICQ ... it's missing shipping and payment info. (#3) We both go to the site admin, which shows 1 order ... but when we click on it, it's not there. (#4) We check the database tables ... customer info and products ordered are there (whew!), but nothing else. (#5) While checking all this out, and placing a test order to try and track the problem, the site/server starts acting weird in regards to accessibility and speed. Email tech support. (#6) Add a note about the cart issue to 4 pages for the site. Go to upload them via FTP, and can't connect due to server glitching. (#7) Create dummy account and duplicate the order we received on the development site so I can calculate shipping and email the customer. Spend 30+ minutes on something that should have taken all of 1 minute. (#8) After taking ibuprofen and a brief brain break, go take pics so I can send out an order and work on newsletter. Pics don't come out (#9), and when I go to retake them, the digital camera says there are no pictures available even though I deleted everything off the camera after taking the first set. (#10) At this point, I'm aggravated (to put it politely) enough to chew and spit nails. If I were a drinking person, I'd probably be belting back a few, but I'm not so I'll have to find something else to do to calm me down before hubby gets home and we start working on resolving these problems.
