Guest guest
Okay, here it is: This is the basic all purpose pine cleaner recipe, and it can be used as a solution for household cleaning wipes. All-purpose pine cleaner: Combine the following: 10 drops of pine essential oil (Pinus sylvestris), 1 teaspoon liquid castile soap 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar 1/2 tsp borax powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 12 ounces oregano hydrosol 8 oz warm water This blend can be used in a spritzer bottle or a pour bottle. Also I find that it works great for making disinfectant/deodorizing wipes for maintenance of the toilet area. Since it doesn't contain chlorine bleach it is also more environmentally friendly than many of the commercial household wipes that are available. To make wipes you'll want to use a durable quality paper towel such as Bounty or Brawny. Tear off paper towels from their roll and lay in a square/rectangular plastic container (such as a baby wipes tub or Tupperware container). They can be folded or cut in half. Slowly pour cleaner solution over the stack of paper towels. They will compact down somewhat after absorbing the liquid. Seal tightly. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com

Guest guest
Hi Chris and all, Nice to see that I'm in good company re badly aiming little boys ;-D And thanks Chris for the formula, I'm surely gonna try it but have some questions. Since I don't have any oregano hydrosol (can't get it here and shipping that amount of liquid from AVT is too darned expensive), do you think I can make a strong water infusion - or a tincture from dried oregano and it will work?? Second - I don't have any borax and never will (it's considred fairly cancerogenous over here), so I wonder what I can use instead?? Citric acid maybee? I am sure that for this purpose using a drop of oregano EO would work great, or maybe even a strong oregano tea ... > Second - I don't have any borax and never will (it's considred fairly cancerogenous over here), so I wonder what I can use instead?? If you don't have borax, just skip it .. so, please tell me more about borax being carcinogenic?!?! > Fragrant blessings, > Ylva Happy Halloween! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com
