Guest guest
Yo Neysa, Chris and other good folks .. Also .. I'll send y'all some info on a Roach Repellent .. won't kill'em but will repell'em. During the research on Catnip Oil (Nepeta cataria) .. which y'all will recall repelled skeeters 10 X more effective than did Deet .. they also discovered it was even more effective at repelling cucarachas .. ;-p Course .. odds are around 99% that if you move into a new home where the previous occupants lived a lifestyle that allowed roaches to thrive .. or maybe just didn't bother to kick butt on the first couple that came to visit and allowed them to bring' in all their buddies too .. once you get it cleaned up and their butts kicked, you'll not see them again for a while. My office is in an apartment building .. most small companies in Turkey occupy buildings that also have family dwellings. Had a family (not Turkish or American) in the apartment beside my office .. danged cucarachas started showing up. Pretty soon the land lord evicted them cause they had less than acceptable standards of hygiene. But the point is .. I made an exception to my normally strong dislike for commercial chemical products .. I went with the strongest roach killer they sold in Turkey .. forget the name but it was something like Black Flag, etc. For 8-10 days we were finding dead ones creeping outta places one wouldn't think an ant could get into .. but since then we've not had any. Oh yea .. its not just an office ... my maid cooks a full noon meal each day so we do have food in the area. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com -------------------------- > At least I haven't had to deal with any new roaches so far. > > Chris, if you DO run into more, let me tell you what finally did ours in (after paying a fortune to the > darn Terminex people who increased out " family " of roaches considerably) > > Raid MAX with egg stoppers. I know, it isnt natural... but neither are roaches IMNSHO! Takes a while to > break their cycle but it WORKS!!! > Hugs > neysa
