Guest guest
Hi list; I am currently searching for a great book on essential oils. I have been told to go with Julia Lawless' book- but am unsure which edition would be the best. There are two that I am looking at - one is called Essential Oils: An Illustrated Guide, the other one is called Encyclopedia of Essential Oils: The Complete Guide to the Use of Aromatic Oils in Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Health & Well-Being, and yet a third one is called The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Essential Oils: The Complete Guide to the Use of Oils in Aromatherapy and Herbalism. All three of them are published by different people, at different times, and the covers are all different as well as the name. I am buying on-line- so I can't really look through the book to tell which would be the best one. I do like illustrations but they aren't absolutely necessary, I suppose. If anyone could tell me which one they have and why they like it, I would greatly appreciate it!!!!! Thanks so much! Guest guest
Thanks for your input, friends. I think that Sylla's and Martin's books are too advanced for my friend at this time and that Lawless would be a good recommendation. She was going to invest $40. in an e.o. The other two have more detailed info on uses, potential issues, definite issues, etc than Lawless' book. Guest guest
What about Salvatore Battaglia's book. Not sure if I spelled that correctly because my books are currently packed away but it is a good book. Dorothy mjh wrote: > Thanks for your input, friends.
