I believe a well-known AT author is associated withthe company, at least she was years ago. You explained the difference between diffusers and nebulizers very well. I would add that the heat and fan-activated diffusers are best used to scent the air for aromachology purposes, i.e., they can make you relax, or energize you, emotions like that. The nebulizer I view as a quasi-medical device. If there are germs in the air, you can diffuse germ-killing oils. Those little droplets are disbursed in such a manner they remain unchanged by heat. Also, if you are congested, you can make your own version of Vicks-Vap-O-Rub to diffuse to help you breathe easier. The nebulizer can also be used for aromachology -- I'm enjoying a patchouli/orange blend right now, but I think their real role in life is to cleanse the air and bring relief to congested airways. I have both a nebulizer and several tea-tree-heated diffusers. Oh, I have a Quattro Pro air-diffuser, too, but rarely use it. http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady
