Guest guest
Hiya all My friend, Wayne, has his immune system knocked out in a chemo attempt to deal with a reoccurance of Hairy cell leukemia. I would like to make him a blend to sniff when he must be out of a safe environment to provide some protection from the inevitable onslaught of pathogens. What do you recommend? Thanks MJH
Guest guest
Hi, new member here.... In The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy it states that the following are great for antiviral and antibacterial situations. Lemon, Bergamot, Geranium, Melissa, Cinnamon, Clove, Pine, Lavender, Clary-sage and Rose It gives the following recipe called Bacteria Busters: Lemon 3 drops Bergamot 5 drops Cinnamon 1 drop Clary-sage 1 drop Geranium 5 drops It says you can put this in a box of tissues overnight sealed and then use the tissues. Or put on a handkerchief and put to the nose when needed. Or I suppose he could just spray it on his clothing. Sounds like it would smell very good. Also any of the others mentioned above could be added or substituted. It also recommends wiping toilets seats, door knobs, etc. with these on a tissue. Good luck to your friend. My father in law had leukemia. Linda Lathrop
Guest guest
Thanks for your thoughtfulness, Linda. For some reason, I did not get this message earlier. Did your relative use these oils successfully during an immune system depressed phase of leukemia treatment? mjh , " Linda " <lathrop@t...> wrote: > Hi, new member here.... > > In The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy it states that the following are great for antiviral and antibacterial situations. > > Lemon, Bergamot, Geranium, Melissa, Cinnamon, Clove, Pine, Lavender, Clary-sage and Rose > > It gives the following recipe called Bacteria Busters: > > Lemon 3 drops > Bergamot 5 drops > Cinnamon 1 drop > Clary-sage 1 drop > Geranium 5 drops > > It says you can put this in a box of tissues overnight sealed and then use the tissues. > > Linda Lathrop > >
