Guest guest
Neysa: I know Jenny Welch carries it but don't even have her addy here on my computer since I lost everything a while back. I know they will know on Tony''s list so if you are on their list, you can ask there. I'll look for it for you anyway. Am not on Tony's list any more (had to cut back on lists) ... but Linda sent me the addy. Thanks for writing! Can you tell me more about Dimethicone?? Am I right to think it is silica based? If so, would the silica they use to gel oils work as well?? Thanks! Neysa

Guest guest
It is a silicone oil; however, Jenny says that silicone fluid comes in several viscosities. The viscosity of what she sells is 1000cSt (similar to corn syrup). Compare that to your gel oils to see how they relate. [from Jenny's brochure] As little as 2-3% added to cosmetic formulas greatly improves the skin-feel of creams and lotions, reducing tackiness and improving slip. I use it at 1-3% in my formulas. I'd be happy to send you a small bit of mine if you want to try before you buy ;o) Linda Wallen Village Treasures ljwallen " Leave room in your garden for the angels to dance.
