Guest guest
OK, trying to figure out my dilutions to take the oregano oil internally -- - I diluted mine 10% in EVO. So that means if I take 10 drops, I am getting the equivalent of 1 drop of pure oil, right? - I was checking some of the store-bought dosages. They say 4 drops 3x daily. Then, when you look at their label, well, here, I'll cut and paste it: Supplement Facts: Serving Size 4 Drops Servings Per Container 275 Amount Per Serving Wildcrafted Oregano Oil 37.6 mg + (Origanum vulgare) Yielding approximately 22.6 mg carvacrol Extra Virgin Olive Oil 70 mg + + Daily value not established. " So did they basically dilute their 2:1, EVO:oregano? In which case, they are getting about 2 drops of pure oregano per serving, right? So does that mean that if I keep my dilution at 10% that I should take 20 drops at a time instead of 10? Sorry, but between this sinus headache and brain cramps in general when it comes to math, I really need someone to walk me through this, and I can only call my engineer brother so many times! :-) Thanks, Debbie deb Beautiful hair ~ naturally! http://www.debrasrhapsody.com/rhapsody/forthehair.php
Guest guest
Debra, I can't help you with below. But I can't even imagine anyone taking 10 or 20 drops of Butch's Oregano oil. I remember last year during winter season, he suggested ONE drop in a bowl of soup - I used TWO one time and it was so very very very HOT. You can do this more than once a day. I have Oregano hydrosol and will put ONE TSP in a glass of juice or even water and sip on it. I don't know what the health food store sells, but I know from experience using Butch's Oregano Oil.
