Virginia Cedarwood isn't a cedar..it's juniperus virginiana .. a juniper. atlas cedarwood is cedrus atlanticus The virginia smells like pencils..it's the wood they are made of... the atlas cedarwood is much deeper scented... sweet, deep, earthy... strengthening, somehow...it's one of the ancient spiritual oils. you need samples to compare... which to buy would depend on your uses for them....
