Guest guest
This is sort of on topic but mostly off I guess. This magazine I receive once a month. I don't even remember ordering it. Anyway, There is an article in it titled Fair-Weather Home Fragrances: a new climate It is about large candle manufactures and what they are doing to prepare for the holiday season because candle sales have leveled off in the last year or so. 1. New fragrances are being introduced. 2. Those electric plug-ins are an up and coming product with scents of Home Sweet Home, Clean Cotton, MacIntosh, Sage & Citrus, French Vanilla, Seaside Holiday, Honeydew Melon and Lilac Blossoms. 3. PartyLite, using their Auroraglow technology will be featured in the 'Pumpkin Ball'. It is a candle rendition of the jack o lantern. Their technology makes candles glow from the inside out. 4. This fall PartyLite is introducing new fragrances called Pear Pleasures (mix of sweet pears, golden apples, roasted almonds and vanilla), Whispering Leaves (crisp & wood notes with sweet moss & anber), Homespun Memories (home baked nutmeg, cinnamon and orange zest). They think these scents tie into the memory evoking and edible scents. 5. Yankee candles are adding two new scents too. They are Nutmeg & Cedar and Sea Blossoms. These companies also think the following colors will be big this fall and winter: plum, berry & fuchsia. Also that Spearmint Candy Cane, Pine Berry, Creamy Coco & Winter Solstice candles will sell very well. There is a bunch more in the article. Just thought I would share a bit of it with you all.
