Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I apologize for the cross post but do not remember which list the question came from. A while back someone had misplaced thier recipe for an alternative to Vick's. I found this one among some of my old files and thought I would send it along. I do not remember where the original receipe came from and I hope I have not stepped on anyone's toes by posting it here. 1/2 Cup S. Almond Oil 1/4 Cup Olive Oil 2 oz Beeswax 1/2 tsp Peppermint 1/4 tsp Rosemary 1/2 tsp Eucalyptus ( I would choose the species dependent on who it is for - elderly & children E. smithii.) 1/4 tsp Camphor Instructions: Melt the Beeswax, add the fixed oils stirring well. Once blended together add the essential oils and blend well. Pour into jars and let them sit on the counter until they are cool then cap. I also use the above essential oils as a synergy in my aroma humidifier 2 drop peppermint 2 drops rosemary 2 drops E. globus (or other species) 1 drop Camphor Cheryl ===== Cheryl Smith A Heavenly Body 204 Muldoon Road Anchorage AK 99504
Guest guest
Thank You Cheryl, it was me. I just went and wrote the active ingredients off a box at the drug store. Too look through all the CD I have files on, I figured it would take forever. Now I can have it more current, and in a file I can find sooner. Have A Great Evening.
