Hello Margaret......yes, I agree, it is a cool title and I respect you very

much for your dedication and investment to attain it! There was not a

workshop being offered at the time I was getting involved with this shea butter

project. I purchased the workbook and after using it for a reference tool for

months, I finally forced myself to sit down and complete the test and have sent

it

in for grading.

We are just now to the point of submitting our butter for analysis and plan

to send to both ASBI and Rutgers University. Our processing facility was

just publically dedicated last last week. Previous to this the butter was

processed by our staff and to my partner's quality specifications (she lives in

Ghana and this project is her dream) but in a remote facility. Now that we

have

reached more sizeable supply and production levels (and are using our own

permanent facility) we ready for the next step. Long answer to tell you that

I'd like to keep you posted as things progress!

Once again, my highest regards to you for going to Atlanta and taking

advantage of the learning opportunity offered. (my workbook is 58 pages...how

many

are in yours? :) Margie Lemons

Well, you are doing good then to have purchased the workbook. And I'm sure

you have passed the test.

I am excited for you and can't wait to hear how it turns out.

They must have added to it since you bought yours. Mine has 76 pages. Now

I'm curious to find out what it is they've added, bet you are too.

Thanks for taking the time to write a response. After taking the course and

studying the workbook it has truly made me aware of things I would not have

thought about in regards to shea butter. You'd think it would just be

simple, but it's not really.

Good luck on the test. And do keep me and all of us here posted on those

results. :)

Sincerely,

Margaret
