Yes, sure, I never talk in public, no, not surie, not me. Gotta hard time buying that I do. ;-) > Looking forward to meeting you all! I'm about to get really huffy... first of all, I'm not a LEFT WING BLOODY LIBERAL! I'm just a " Bleeding heart Liberal " BIG FLIPPING DIFFERENCE! And as for that " Even Liberals " crack... what do you thing the alternative biz is filled with anyway... it sure isn't the stay at home, wear a bra, cook for the man, change the nappy, little woman conservative... In FACT in this weird crowd it's the CONSERVATIVES that are the slightly off the wall, bizarre, ready to be committed any moment, walking down the strange side of the road ones... Has this shy, quiet, demure, would never raise me eyes or me voice angel of sweetness and light made herself clear? Cheers! Guest guest
Hey Butch, Marge (sorry about the sandwich), and all, I'm totally kidding about the quiet thing. I have NEVER been around of fellow AT people and had a problem with nobody talking; usually everyone has something to say. And for the most part, get along very well; often times like old friends even though they just met. (And unless someone is creepy or invasive I'm not a shy person either.) I find most people that I know in AT (AT leaders if you will) have some rather interesting stories about how they got there. It is very much an 'alternative' thing, and not mainstream at all (Glade and Wizard Air don't cut it.) They have usually been through some pretty terrible things, come through and take an active role in their health and well-being. (Does that make them incredible? – often.) They also usually investigate things, or they never would have delved into AT. Now I'm being stereo typical and using generalizations. There are some weird AT nuts that not everyone gets along with, I'm sure we all know of a few. And I bet bees kill more people in the US that Deer, Sharks, and Liberals combined. I was just kidding about the people staring in a circle in complete silence. I thought it was a pretty funny image! That has NOT been the case to theses I've been too! Yes, I think Stacey going to be there. And remember, even liberals make a good point every now and then. (And Butch, have you ever realized you sound like a tree-hugger tellin' people to go sniff rose oil all the time? Well to someone who doesn't know any better.) Guest guest
Ms. Woobey Queen (bra not included), My " even liberals' coment was NOT directed in you in any way. You could subsitude anybody - conservative, leftist, comedian. I.E.: " Even Republicans make a good point every now an then. " (yes it's rare, but it does happen!) <wink> Oh, sorry hear about the loss of your bunny. It's hard to train people than don't have rabbits how to take care of them. I made a list or rules that I'll send you privately. Oh, and I strongly urge everyone NOT to engage in a political argument with me. I'm usually right <grin>. The sooner the world accepts that the easier it will be for all. <big grin> And I don't get on the AT board for politics, so if I see one coming I just delete it. It's usually 'lecture' and not 'discussion' anyway. " Has this shy, quiet, demure, would never raise me eyes or me voice angel of sweetness and light made herself clear? " Oh, yes, can't wait for the peaceful metations of soft quiet inner bliss in Tuscon! (Acutally, we probably agree most of the time anyway.) The very Shy, quiet and reseved: David Roman (I'm shy and reserved like Charo is, only I can't play the guitar.)
