Guest guest
Hi Marcine, Whatchya mean by " unscented potpourri " ? Are you just looking for an herbal mixture without any fragrance added to use as a base or just a pretty " dried flower " filling for a decorate container, or are you looking for something else? *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Marcine [cherokee2003us] Monday, August 25, 2003 10:55 AM Question~ I am trying to locate a good price on unscented potpouri in large amounts...I have found several pages online and have a few suggestions. ..you all seem to know so much compared to me as I am just starting~ thank you all so much for any help~ Peace and harmony~ Marcine

Guest guest
Wow! Since you're looking for HUGE sizes like 20 lbs or so ... maybe getting a buncha one pound bags of botanicals and mixing the blends yourself would be one way to go. OR San Francisco Herbs has premixed unscented potpourri blends and they do have bulk discounts (like 15% off 25 lbs of a particular variety) http://www.sfherb.com/ *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Marcine [cherokee2003us] Monday, August 25, 2003 2:47 PM RE: Question~ Chris, Thanks for replying..I am looking for the unscented~ already mixed that I will add my own oils.I found some online but could only buy 1lb at a time. hoping to get more like 20 lbs lol...I am very new at this and I want to try to make some gifts for family etc...maybe one day think about selling but not too much too fast...I am disabled and mainly looking for something to do at my own pace..I also make really nice bath salts~ Also...does anybody know about a company that sells oils called.. This place is one I have been looking at but have not tried their products. TC Labs specializes in the development of all natural and naturally-based skin care products, concentrates, additives and ingredients. All products created by our company are people, earth, animal and environment safe! We promise to give you the best that mother nature has to offer!!! http://www.tclaboratories.com/ I buy some of my products in bulk from this company. They are a B2B company so you would need a business licenses or one of those sales things you get from the state you live in. RainShadow Labs manufactures the finest bath, body and home fragrance products available today. We use the finest natural ingredients, and utilize many of Mother Nature’s gifts in our products, such as trace minerals, vitamins, herbs, botanicals and natural oils. http://www.rainshadowlabs.com Some others that do not have any requirements other than minimums is: www.mountainroseherbs.com http://inkristinesshower.bizhosting.com/index.html http://www.lemelange.com/_wpl/lmwsco.htm http://www.valhallasoapcompany.com/ http://www.the-buying-group.com/ http://www.scentsanctuary.ca www.olivetreesoaps.com http://www.tlcsoaps.com/soapmaking.htm Hope one of these sites has what you are looking for and in the quantity you want. Many people I know like grapeseed oil, Jojoba, and a combination of Sweet Almond, Kukui Nut and Fractionated Coconut Oil. Fractionated Coconut Oil is really good for not staining and glides really well but does not have therapeutic properties like some other carrier oils. Guest guest
Hi Marcine, Yes ... there's always a LOT of help that comes from this list ;o) I have some very good accounts with massage therapists and spas around here. Their favorite massage oil base is made of: safflower - light texture and penetrates the skin well, helps to moisturize, nourish and restructure the skin, helpful for painful sprains, bruises, and inflamed joints; grapeseed - non-greasy, slightly astringent and tightens and tones the skin; fractionated coconut oil - light, non-greasy, does not clog pores, making it an ideal carrier for oily or troubled skin and suits all skin types. I substitute almond for safflower in my 'dry skin' blend. I substitute avocado for the safflower in my 'damaged or mature skin' blend. These are all " affordable " blends and provide the correct slip-n-slide for the therapist. I also make a body lotion that is very popular. I sell it in bulk quantities. Please contact me offlist if you are interested. (ljwallen) HTH ... Linda Wallen Village Treasures ljwallen " Leave room in your garden for the angels to dance.
