Chris,

Do tell me about lactation tea? Is it the same as Mothers Milk by

Traditional Medicinals? I am nursing a almost 3 month old, and anything

informational about this subject is most welcomed!

Hi Jennifer (fellow milkin' mama :)

Yep, I do drink the Mother's Milk Tea by Traditional Medicinals. I drink

it hot and I have a big jug of it in the fridge as iced tea. I'm also

about to play around and make up a few of my own blends - I've been in

tea mode lately and I want something a little different.

I was thinking a blend containing Blessed Thistle, Fennel, Fenugreek,

Alfalfa, Hops, and some other stuff. As soon as I come up with the final

concoction or two I'll post it - I promise! :)

And ya know what else I find helps the milk production .. a beer every

so often. Not enough to get ya drunk or anything - just one pint .. and

I mean a good beer, not Budweiser (no offense to any Bud fans) .. more

like a microbrew or a homebrew, and the darker the better. And not any

other alcoholic beverage either, just a dark beer.
