Guest guest
Hey Rox, Good advice this is. > First of all, fleas drown easily! They can't swim at all (one good thing > about them anyway!) And .. many of them get into the house riding on our trouser legs. > Some EOs, like cedarwood, citronella and eucalyptus, repel fleas, so you > could spray the dog lightly, put some on a collar, or add a bit to a > rinse when you're bathing her or him. A bit to the rinse I agree with .. but I wouldn't spray my dawg. This is a personal choice .. but dawgs lick themselves much like cats do. > Pennyroyal's also s'pozed to be good for fleas, Kills'em daid .. a few dawg groomers get it from me for this purpose. > but I dunno if this is a water infusion, infused oil or EO. . . :^P Pennyroyals are distilled essential oils .. they are also the most TOXIC EO I know of .. IF INGESTED .. won't hurt to put some in the rinse water but it certainly should not be sprayed on a dawg. > (Snipped) diatomaceous earth (also called Fullers earth, I think) > HTH. Good luck . . . . > rox Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
