Guest guest
Thanks to Nancy and Sherry for your help! Now, here's the strange part . . .. My dog doesn't have fleas! My husband and I went over every square inch of him, and there is not one bug on him, not one! No flea dirt, nothing! He has a few bites on his underside that he has been licking at, but I don't even know if those are from fleas. All I can figure is that perhaps there are some on our lawn, b/c that is where this woman was playing with Guinness. She said when he rolled over his tummy was covered with fleas. Well, not one, I swear to you! How weird is that? He is out on the lawn right now, and I went out to check him, and nothing again, not one bug even near him. I did make a repellant from cedarwood, lemongrass, eucatlyptus, pennyroyal, patchouli, lavender and rose geranium in distilled water, and we will just spray him with it when he goes outside, just to be on the safe side. I feel so stupid for listening to her, but I have just never dealt with fleas before, so I had no idea. Guest guest
Debbie, Odd things happen. Don't feel silly. I'd rather be safe then have a house full of fleas. Your mixture sounds good. Had I known when I went to my son, the dog would be covered with fleas. I know I would have brought a better selection of oils. Just glad you don't have a problem.
