Does that sound about right? What are your experiences with >this? Is there any place beyond Donna Maria's book that has more >info on the use of CO2s? in total honesty, I've not seen any other sources... bits of anecdotal evidence here and there...but nothing that I can direct you to. for uses... I have received some creams that contain the CO2's... and I'd not use most of them at anything higher than 1%... if you are using several of them...I'd keep the level down to 2% total...and even that is going to give you a 'cream colored' cream, rather than pure white. (talking, of course, of the orange colored ones...sea buck, rose hip, heliocarrot, etc.) the german chamo CO2, in a blend with any of the orange co2's will give you a nasty mud brown color (what happens when you mix green and orange, unfortunately!) >I also got some astonishingly _LOVELY_ german chamomile CO2 from >Nature's Gift that blew me away. I can't wait to incorporate >this chamo into skincare, and maybe a perfume (yes, it's a GERMAN >chamo, and it's THAT lovely.) first of all...thank you! (and can I quote your heli and Cham co2 mix in our newsletter?) two comments on the German Cham CO2 1. we use it in both our rosacea synergy, and our clarifying (anti acne) synergy...both also contain helichrysum, so you were right on track there. 2. I have seen the German Cham co2 in a base of Frac coconut heal a skin ulcer that NOTHING else would touch... a year of trying every healer's best healing salve, lavender. steam distilled german cham...nothing. w/in less than a week of trying the co2 blend, you could see improvement, and in probably three weeks...it was healed. (the ulcer was caused by the skin degeneration that can accompany lymphoedema, btw.) and our Debi likes to mix a wee bit of the Cham CO2 in a base of calophyllum (tamanu? foraha? take your pick...the green, butter pecan smelling carrier)... the two together smell divine... and leave your skin feeling like velvet! (the ulcer > was caused by the skin degeneration that can accompany lymphoedema, btw.) Not surprising. I've also mixed it in alcohol with lavandin, black pepper and a touch of heli for my horse's windpuffs (leg swelling/edema) - worked great > and our Debi likes to mix a wee bit of the Cham CO2 in a base of > calophyllum (tamanu? foraha? take your pick...the green, butter pecan > smelling carrier)... the two together smell divine... and leave your skin > feeling like velvet! I LOVE foraha/tamanu as well and will try her blend BUT, is it normal to have to strain the " goo " out of foraha? Mine has quite a bit of nut sediment in it - smells divine tho, have been mixing half and half with other oils and running through a coffee filter.
