Guest guest
Thanks Butch travel safely and I`ll wait till you get back to Maryland to tell me more I was already going to ask if anyone here sells it and how do you use it, I use some tinctures but would really like to know more about essential oils and how to use them I know alittle but some of y`all sound very up on all this and I really would like to learn more. They said it was good for worms would this work on my dogs as a wormer?? Thanks for all the help Sandra - Butch Owen Saturday, August 09, 2003 1:33 AM Oregano Oil/ was Grapefruitseed Oil Hi y'all, > http://droregano.com/ and do a search for oregano oil to learn lots. > It is antiseptic, antiviral, antibiotic, antifungal, antihisimine, > antiparasitic and more. > Diana of Dewberry Hill There is no doubt that Origanum is a wonder oil .. I've written maybe a thousand or more pages on it .. and I also know what it will not do. Cass Igram .. who runs this company .. claims Oregano is good for every ail there is .. and he wrote it as such in his book, The Cure Is In The Cupboard. But Igram is a medical doctor and as such can claim that dawg crap is better than Vit. C. Igram is a smart feller .. but not as smart as he wants to portray himself as being .. methinks. He avoid the use of words like Essential Oil and Hydrosol .. preferring Oil of This and That and Juice of This and That .. and his products are diluted from 5% to 10% or so (for the so-called Super Stuff) .. so check the prices well. I was one of his first suppliers .. back in the mid-90s .. sent him a few thousands of kilograms (tons) of wildgrown Turkish Oregano EO .. and it was all quality oil. He now has a partner here who distills for him and we all know this cat. ;-p Unfortunately, I am cutting out now and don't have the time to send a buncha posts on Origanum .. and I won't have them in my files to forward when I'm in Maryland. I'll just say that most folks have read and heard me on it .. and its one of the five oils I would live with if I could only have five the rest of my life. I have not visited a doctor (except for routine checkups) or taken an over the counter or prescription medication since 1996 .. I catch a bug from time to time as do most folks .. but I can kick Big Bad Bug Butts in 12-18 hours .. and do so routinely and consistently. The main thing I use is Origanum .. matters not which of the Origanums as the major active ingredient is Carvacrol .. and they all have it. Don't believe stories about mountain grown Oregano .. they are fairy tales. And when you buy an Oregano Oil consider the cost if it is diluted with olive oil already. Y'all keep smiling, Butch :-) http://www.AV-AT.com PS: Just sent 300 kilos of the finest Origanum vulgare I have seen in years to the USA .. 150 of it is already sold to one buyer in Canada. What makes it the finest is the Carvacrol level is around 82% .. this is not a norm and the reason it is that high is because a new contract was let for the harvest (brokers work the peasants in such contracts) and the new broker is trying to make a good first impression .. so the raw materials were all leaf .. no stems and stalks as is the norm on harvest of any wildgrown crop when the picker is paid by the kilo for effort. Guest guest
Just putting my two cents worth in for oregano oil use. It has certainly helped me with oncoming colds and also with diverticulitis. I put a few drops in virgin olive oil and then chase it with a tablespoon of honey. Blessings and love, Effie >Thanks Cheryl do you use it and if so has it helped you? >Sandra > - > Cheryl Smith > > Friday, August 08, 2003 8:03 PM > Re: Oregano oil/ was Grapefruitseed Oil > > > Sandra, > > You might also look in the archives for some of > the posts that Butch has made regarding Oregano. > The man is a fount of information and one of his > main things is oregano.
