Favorite Ways To Beat The Heat?

Being that we're having a heat wave here I was thinking it might be nice

if everyone shared their favorite ways (including recipes) to beat the

heat. Other than hiding in air conditioning (*LOL*) I like to make fresh

ice cream, frozen popsicles, aromatherapy spritzers, etc .. I'll post

some recipes in a bit, my hubby needs my help in the bathroom he is

refinishing right now (fixing the house to sell it - so I can move some

place even hotter ;-p)

Hi Chris...

 

My air-conditioning is on the fritz... It was soo hot here a few weeks ago, I

had the kids sleep with me ( king size waterbed), so there we were 4 bodies on

the bed with 2 fans blowing warm air on us.

We got a spray bottle and filled it with cold water, and sprayed ourselves, then

when the air from the fan hit, it felt like a cool breeze. It was great.

 

We also went out and bought water guns, and had a water fight, it was so much

fun that we had another water fight in the rain when we were camping last week.

It was a blast.
