Leaky Eye

Hi Cheryl,

 

I have some experience with this....my eyes water a lot, and it's gotten

worse since I had lasik about 2 years ago. My eye doctor told me that as

some people age, their natural lubrication in the eye diminishes (I don't

know the mechanics of this). He told me that it's a " dry eye " condition,

which makes the eye water more. This seems strange to me, but he also said

that he could " plug " one or more of the tear ducts (which evidently provide

drainage away from the eye). I'm sorry this is SO disjointed, but I

personally haven't followed up on the plugging thing. If I get more

information, I'll post it.
